The new MF 5410 joins four new models, from 82hp to 107hp (max power) launched at the Paris SIMA Show in early 2011, which merge well-proven features from the best-selling MF 5400 Series with new designs developed specifically for this power bracket.

Proven power and performance
The MF 5410 is powered by a Perkins 4.4 litre, four cylinder 110D-44T engine. Similar to that fitted to the 82hp MF 5420, launched in spring 2011, this mechanical injection engine is renowned for its reliability and economy.
The modern design offers a lively response and develops maximum power at 2,000 rpm, which reduces fuel consumption while also cutting noise and wear. The punchy engine develops its impressive maximum torque of 310Nm, at just 1,400rpm allowing it to pull through tough spots and respond quickly without the need to change gears. It is also the ideal match for the Dyna-4 transmission.
A high visibility bonnet is fitted as standard. This one-piece unit pivots open for easy access for service and offers an unrivalled view forward and to the sides, without compromising cooling capacity.
Top transmission control and efficiency
The standard Dyna-4 transmission combines ease of use with a range features and benefits usually available only on larger tractors. The highly efficient gearbox provides 16 forward and 16 reverse gears with completely clutchless operation after starting up.
The renowned Power Control lever, mounted on the left-hand side of the steering wheel, operates three functions, which make the tractor ideal for loader work. This is used to shuttle between forward and reverse, change speeds and select neutral – all without using the clutch.
Spacious and comfortable Low Profile cab is standard
MF 5410 customers can select the type of cab to exactly meet their needs for access into low buildings as well as comfort. All cabs are equipped to a high specification with tinted glass, opening side and rear windows, a heater and the option of air conditioning as well as a radio/CD player. There is an unimpaired forward view thanks to the side-mounted exhaust.
In addition, the Low Profile cab can be specified with either a Slimline roof (2,499mm overall height with 30in tyres), a Visio roof or with the standard roof. The standard cab is available with either the Visio roof or the standard roof and, unusually for this size of tractor, cab suspension for optimum comfort.
Simple, robust front loader and linkage mount
The new front axle mounting offers huge benefits to MF 5410 users. This design provides an exceptional turning angle for unrivalled manoeuvrability and offers the facility to also fit an integral sub-frame for mounting a loader or front linkage. This provides a strong and secure installation without impeding the turning circle.
The same specially shaped axle support is also part of the Massey Ferguson Integrated Front Linkage System (IFLS), which allows equipment to be coupled closer to the tractor, which increases stability. This system also allows both a loader and front linkage be fitted at the same time, without impeding the operation of either.
Purpose-built rear axle with electronic linkage control
The MF 5410’s rear axle is designed specifically for this power bracket, while maintaining all the key features of the larger models. The standard Electronic Linkage Control (ELC) combines easy and intuitive operation with accurate and precise control from the well-proven system. Maximum lift capacity is 4,300kg.
The Dual Pump, open-centre hydraulics provide plenty of flow of 42 litres/min plus the additional 57 litres/min to more than match the requirements of even the most demanding modern implements.
