Dirk Hollinderbäumer began his career at Lemken in 1987 after finishing his studies in agriculture. He first completed a dual course of studies in business administration, which brought him to the export division in 1989. He has remained in the same department ever since. He acted as the speaker of the export division for more than 10 years and is responsible for the markets in Central and Southern Europe, and recently also for Russia. Parallel to his career at Lemken, he always maintained his closeness to farming by running his own farm.

With an export share of 73 % and more than 50 export markets, Lemken is among the most important small and medium-sized companies in the sector. Accordingly, Dirk Hollinderbäumer sees the focus of his duties in the further expansion of the distribution network in the existing markets and the development of company-own distribution channels. Lemken is already represented with affiliates in 22 countries. Furthermore, it is also important to develop new markets, especially in the promising African and Asian regions.
