Farmer and agricultural contractor, Pierre Dupuis owns a JOSKIN Tornado muck spreader.
His activity of farming business proposes a wide range to services ranging from complete management of farms to specialized works like spreading muck, harvesting, pressing bales, etc. His farm is specialized in large arable crops (cereals, beets, endives, potatoes, colza).
When he is asked what he likes about his spreader, he says without any doubt its manufacturing quality and its impeccable finishing.
He regrets the absence of spreading table but he likes the work of the Tornado with muck. It allows him to spread compost and poultry manure on a very satisfying working width but also with rather small doses of 10 t/ha – a dosing that is very common with poultry manure and organic wastes.
Thanks to his scientific training as agronomist, Pierre developed a particular craze for tests and new agricultural technologies. He therefore gladly accepted JOSKIN´s proposal to carry out spreading tests on two of his parcels.
In return for his reception, the JOSKIN team was pleased to put his machine on the test board, which proves at the same time that the spreading quality is not altered by the age of the machine.
JOSKIN extends its DRAKKAR range!
Next to the already existing aluminium fixed extensions, it is now possible to fit the DRAKKAR multi-purpose trailer with hydraulic extensions!
These hydraulic extensions of 500 mm high become useful if the topic of loading ease is tackled. Once lowered, they indeed allow an easy loading without necessarily having to use a high loader. The hydraulics makes it also possible to control these extensions on request, either each side separately or in a sequential way and this from the cabin of the tractor. This advantage is very useful when ensiling in the fields.
Furthermore, in order to meet the market demand and to be ever more competitive, JOSKIN will propose in the beginning of 2014 a brand new version of its DRAKKAR models: they will then be available with a body height of 1,50 m next to the bodies of 1,80 m that are currently proposed in the range.
