Case IH dealer Mike Garwood Ltd were present at Alresford show on Saturday 7th September. The show was well-attended and crowds were drawn to Mike Garwood's stand by the 9230 combine on tracks with a 30ft header. Mr. Garwood, Dealer Principal said he has been pleased with the response he has had since taking on the Case IH franchise, and said “most of our customers we demonstrated the combine to this year, could not believe how simple the machine was to operate and couldn't believe the quality of the grain sample”.

Farmall and loader photo shoot

Last month the Case IH team took to the field with a film crew to take images and video footage of the new LRZ 100 loader fitted to a Farmall 115A. The weather was perfect for the shoot, which took place near Builth Wells, Wales. The team, together with Ffynon Tractors and Lynx Engineering, took the opportunity to gather some great footage. Look out for the video which will be released later in the year.

Truro Farm Machinery Celebrates 30 Year Anniversary!

Truro Farm Machinery celebrated 30 years of trading with a party in their workshop near Newquay, Cornwall, this summer. With the help of a live band, a bar and a hog roast, over 500 customers partied into the early hours.

Truro Farm Machinery started as International Harvester dealers in 1983. The dealership went through the merge of Case and IH in 1986 and continued as a Case IH dealer until 2000, when they changed to another brand.

This change didn´t last long. "In 2008 we came back to Case IH where we belong and it has proved to be a very good move" Says Dealer Principal Bob Jones. "The Case IH tractors which we have sold have proven to be very reliable and are well accepted by our customers".

In 2010, the dealership moved out of Truro into new purpose built premises and three years on they are looking forward to a very prosperous future with Case IH.

Irish National Ploughing Championships

This year's Irish National Ploughing Championships smashed all previous records for the number of visitors with over 228,000 people attending over the three day event. Crowds were drawn to the Case IH stand by the Maxxum 130VCX and Farmall 105U Pro but the tractor that attracted the most attention was by far the new Magnum 370CVX. All of these were shown here for first time in Ireland. Also on the stand was a Farmall U with loader, a Puma 160 and a Maxxum 125.

During the Championships event, the Irish Independent held a competition to win a Case IH Farmall 105A. Congratulations to the lucky winner, Elizabeth O'Reily!
