(Tittmoning, 16rd December 2013) The SILOKING Feeding Management Software has been available as a free top service for the programmable weighing system Wireless FM since May 2013. The weighing system includes two wireless terminals: the Terminal Premium is located in the unloading vehicle, combining the functions of the weighing computer and the control of the hydraulic system in one control unit. The handy Terminal Basic in the loading vehicle makes it possible to call and control the feeding recipes. Together with the web-based Feeding Management Software, cattle farmers can create feeding recipes in the office and transfer them to the Terminal Premium via a standard USB stick. This saves feed costs and increases the milk yield through exact implementation of the calculated rations. Due to the great response, SILOKING is going a step further, offering the next software tool: a free interface to the feeding consultancy program Futter 5 by HYBRIMIN, which is used by many feeding consultants of renowned international mineral feed and premix producers. More than 200 consultants have already got the new update Futter 5.
“This in particular, will make the cooperation between the feeding consultant and the farmer much easier“, Ulrich Hufnagel, responsible for product management at SILOKING, said. “The feeding consultant can comfortably transfer, with a single mouse click, any new or changed recipes to the farmer, who reads the data into his Feeding Management Software and then transfers them to the control terminal in the tractor cabin. Time-consuming manual entering of feeding data is a thing of the past”, Ulrich Hufnagel continued.
Cattle farmers who work with many different feed rations and update them in short intervals will particularly benefit from the new interface free of charge. Efficient controlling is guaranteed.
SILOKING celebrates its 30th company anniversary this year. With its wide product range of self-propelled and trailed vertical feed mixers and machines to mechanise feed collection and distribution it achieved a turnover of more than 50 million Euros in the business area of feeding technology in 2012.
