“We picked the name ‘Stealth' because it has many associations with the new MT700E Challenger tracked tractor,” says Luca Cattani, Product Marketing Manager, Challenger EAME. “The ground does not feel or see it as it moves quietly, economically and smoothly and leaves virtually no footprint. Moreover, with the AGCO Power plant it is so quiet you cannot hear it.”
The Stealth package includes the matt black livery, numbered units 1 to 28 with matching decals. Currently rolling off the production line in Jackson (Minnesota - USA), the first batch will be touching down in Europe late June ready for post-harvest work.
Stealth #1 is heading to the UK and is set on the Wide Track version. “Wide, long tracks, which operate at low levels of slip when compared with any other solution, enable tracked tractors to boost field efficiency and cut costs,” explains Gergely Oláh, Product Support Specialist for Challenger Tractors EAME. “This is usually the main reason why customers are first attracted to the concept and then find the tracks not only do more work than wheeled machines, but also produce further savings and efficiencies.”
Operator comfort of the MT775E Stealth has been taken to a new high. Providing unmatched visibility and ride comfort of any tracked tractor, Nightbreaker HID lights are now fitted as standard. The remote radio control is accessible via the steering wheel for the heavy-duty radio with options for the new vented seat.
The AGCO Jackson factory was reworked in 2012 to include the most up to date manufacturing assembly that ensures the highest industry quality standards. Each tractor undergoes stringent tests and quality management before it receives the ‘Build with Pride' stamp.
