Premium quality Proline cab

Massey Ferguson knows operator comfort plays a key role in maintaining combine performance over long working days, which is why it has developed the new Proline cab specifically for the latest MF ACTIVA S combines.

Providing a high specification to a level often found only on higher capacity machines, the Proline cab is equipped with Massey Ferguson's latest TechTouch 2 terminal and armrest which is used on the larger DELTA Hybrid and BETA models. Control is made through the PowerGrip controller, which contains finger and thumb buttons for the most frequently used functions.

At the front, in the perfect position, sits the TechTouch 2 terminal, which is the central combine manager that provides automatic settings for numerous crops as well as monitors all the operations. The screen is divided into two parts and operators can choose the elements to be displayed or flick through ‘General Information', ‘Combine' and ‘Information' screens.

Noise in the Proline cab is kept to minimum by superb insulation, while the huge glass area offers great all-round visibility. Air conditioning is standard along with an air suspension seat and electrically adjustable wing mirrors. Under the instructor seat is a cooler and storage box.

More power delivered smoothly

The new MF ACTIVA S combines are equipped with the latest, more powerful 7.4 litre AGCO POWER engines that deliver the constant power and torque required for smooth, efficient operation along with low fuel consumption.

The engine develops a maximum power of 243hp (ISO) on the MF ACTIVA 7345, while a 30hp boost for unloading takes the 276hp max power to 306hp on the MF ACTIVA 7347. The engines meet the strictest emissions regulations using Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), which is proven to be simple, reliable and economical.

Wider PowerFlow header

MF ACTIVA S 7347 models are now available with the option of PowerFlow cutting tables up to 6.8m wide. PowerFlow uses a continuous belt feed to gather crops, reduce table losses significantly and presents an even ‘heads first' crop flow. This can boost output by up to 73% in oilseed rape, 15% in wheat and 12% in barley. Alternatively, customers can choose the FreeFlow table, in widths from 4.8m to 7.6m.

Multi Crop Separator increases versatility and performance

Both MF ACTIVA S combines are available with the addition of a Multi Crop Separator (MCS), which provides enhanced threshing while remaining gentle on the straw. With MCS the crop passes through the threshing cylinder to an additional drum and concave system providing up to 1.07 m² of extra separating area. It also has the unique ability to rotate the concave completely out of work when it is not required.

The MCS concave is engaged electrically, without any need for tools. This makes it possible to optimise performance and increase harvesting flexibility as well as improve the grain sample, particularly in dry conditions and when operating with brittle straw.

A full maize kit is available or a universal concave can be installed for use in sunflower, maize or small grains. A special peg and tooth option and rice cylinder is also available.

Sleek styling with practical panels

The latest MF ACTIVA S combines have a sleek new external design with modern and practical styling. This now features large, single panel guards that provide simple and easy access for servicing. Massey Ferguson also continues to hot-dip galvanise all panels and the structure to enhance durability and increase residual values.

MF BETA 7300 features for 2015

Massey Ferguson is also introducing new features on the MF BETA 7360 and MF 7370 combines, which further enhance performance on these popular machines.

“The MF BETA combines have gained an enviable reputation for low cost of ownership, combined with high harvesting efficiency in a wide range of crops and conditions, which is reflected in their high residual values,” says Adam Sherriff. “These new features build on the strong foundations and help users to benefit from faster, more economical harvesting with an uncomplicated design.”

MF BETA new combine features

  • Powerful, latest design AGCO POWER six cylinder 7.4 litre and 8.4 litre engines with power boost on larger models
  • New AutoGuide xls automatic steering through TechTouch terminal option
  • Standard six-row, adjustable straw chopper provides excellent chop quality with a low power requirement
  • Ultimate levelling – across slopes and in all directions

Optimum power delivery

The latest MF BETA 7300 Series combines are powered by advanced six cylinder AGCO POWER engines, with the 320hp, 8.4 litre capacity version in the MF 7370 and PL models developing 30hp of extra power for unloading. The 7.4 litre engine, powering the MF 7360 and PL generates 306hp for the machines including 30hp boost.

The engine characteristics are set specifically for consistent harvesting performance, providing constant power delivery with a flat torque curve to maintain optimum output at all times. They meet the strictest emission regulations using a well-proven Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, which is renowned for its simplicity and fuel economy.

Steer straight to high performance

AutoGuide xls automatic steering, a new option for the latest MF BETA combines, provides accuracy down to 5cm to ensure the combine takes a full cut on each and every run. It can also set up the field layout to minimise short work and allows operators to concentrate on getting the best from the whole machine.

Superb straw chop

All MF BETA 6 Walker  combines benefit from a new six-row straw chopper, which is designed to provide the consistent chopping and spreading performance for users working with reduced tillage operations. The serrated knives, mounted in pairs, work against adjustable stationary knives and a dimple plate to provide the level of intensity required.

The twin-rotor, adjustable chaff spreader option ensures the loose material is spread evenly across the width of the table. Further control is offered by the optional electric deflectors.

Ultimate levelling

Both the MF BETA 7360 and MF 7370 combines are available with Massey Ferguson's innovative ParaLevel front-axle system, which provides automatic side-to-side levelling across slopes of up to 20%. Using a novel parallelogram linkage, the compact and clever system connects the front wheel hubs to the chassis via a lower triangular-shaped bracket and a link arm above – forming a parallelogram shaped linkage.

The addition of the new ‘Integrale' option to PL combines provides complete levelling. This raises and lowers the rear of the machine to compensate for working on slopes – providing auto-levelling of up to 30% uphill and 10% downhill. 4WD is a standard feature of all PL and PLi models.
