Italy could soon have a law protecting the country's farmlands. Minister for Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policy Maurizio Martina reported today, “For years Italy has been waiting for this law. I have to say that other countries took their time to reach a definitive law... and we have to speed up. The goal we have set for ourselves is that we have to close this within the end of this year or, at the latest, in the first weeks of 2015.”
The minister delivered his remarks on visit to exhibition pavilions in EIMA International, the great world exposition on technologies for agriculture.
