The senior industry executives attending the event will be able to see and touch the great variety of equipment that will be on display at the show. This will include anything from a pellet mill or an extruder to a silo or delivery truck, in fact anything required within a feed mill. The range of equipment on display will be enormous.
During the FIAAP show the 6th annual Feed Ingredient and Additive (FIAAP) Conference will take place on June 9th. The FIAAP Conference will showcase the latest and greatest technologies related to the ingredients and additives used within the formulation of animal feeds presented by researchers and thought leaders from around the world.
The one-day education and networking conference will feature a mix of presentations on alternative ingredient utilization and efficacy; the impact of additives on animal health and welfare; and touch on broader issues critical to animal feed producers and formulators.
The FIAAP Conference is attended by senior executives from all over the world, comprised mainly of nutritionists, mill managers, veterinarians, feed formulators, CEO's, directors from feed mills, integrators, co-operatives, large farms, fish farms, hatcheries and petfood processors. Further specialist conferences will be held during the event like the Petfood Forum Europe 2015 Conference that will be held on June 10th at Koelnmesse.
Petfood Forum Europe has offered expert knowledge and valuable networking for European petfood professionals since the late 1990s. The dynamic petfood market is growing quickly in developing regions like Latin America, Eastern Europe and Asia. Additionally, with Western Europe accounting for about 30% of the global pet care industry and home to four of the top 10 global markets, it's a region ripe for innovation in petfood product development, formulation, processing, safety and other areas.
At Petfood Forum Europe 2015, leading petfood industry experts will educate you with new information and ideas to expand your business, by presenting content to help manufacturers and marketers innovate and develop the next wave of petfood products. Their presentations will cover the latest novel, sustainable ingredients, the most recent research on petfood palatability and eating behavior, and best practices for petfood safety, processing, packaging and more.
In addition to a day packed with learning, Petfood Forum Europe participants will be able to enjoy networking with petfood peers from throughout Europe and the world, including during coffee breaks and lunch. The 8th Aquafeed Horizons Conference will take place on the 9th June and will focus on feed processing and technology. The continuing double-digit growth of aquaculture is no secret, but the technical know-how is far from simple given the physical and nutritional demands of feed for differing aquatic environments, feeding habits, and sizes of the hugely diverse range of aquatic species farmed today.
Brought to you by the industry's knowledge communicator, Aquafeed.com. The 8th Aquafeed Horizons Conference will bring together an international line up of experts from industry and applied research institutions, to discuss new aquafeed processing technology, extrusion, processing considerations when using novel ingredients for aquafeeds and more.
Aquafeed Horizons is the gathering place for the professional aquafeed sector and those interested in learning about the production of aquafeeds. Early bird special rate registration opens 1 November, 2014 via the conference website: www.feedconferences.com.
Feed safety assurance certification is becoming increasingly important throughout the world. Therefore there will be a seminar on June 10th discussing this subject. The seminar entitled “The international GMP+ Feed Safety Assurance certificate also your tool?” is available to all registered visitors and is free of charge and will discuss the following: In the coming decades, the world population will grow to about nine billion people. At the same time, the welfare level is rising throughout the world. This results in more demand for safe animal products such as meat, dairy products and eggs. More feed materials are needed for more production of animal protein. The feed material suppliers experience it by increasing demand and export. At the same time, they are faced with increasing demand for demonstrable control of feed & food safety.
GMP+ International has the most suitable tool for the feed business to cope with the new challenges in the export markets as well domestically. Want to know all about the opportunities for your organization? For more information and registration visit: www.gmpplus.org and seminars.
On the 11th June IFF (Research Institute of the International Research Association of Feed Technology (IFF at Braunschweig-Thune) will once again organize their Feed Processing Conference.
This year's topic will be “Energy Management and Sustainability in Feed Production.” The papers in the morning sessions will be in German and the afternoon the papers will be repeated but presented in English. The subjects of the papers will be as follows:
- Hygiene Policy and HACCP in Feed Production
- Sustainability in Feed Production
- Hygienic feed production versus capacity
- Reducing specific energy demands in the pelleting of feed
It would seem from the above that both the exhibitions and the series of conferences will make this a memorable event for the international feed industry. We also understand from the organizers – Victam International, that it is their 50th Anniversary and that some special events to commemorate this will take place. We will let you know more – watch this space.
For further information on this event or the next event organized by Victam in Bangkok please go to their show websites – www.fiaap.com or www.victam.com There will also be a flour milling and grain processing event co-located with FIAAP and VICTAM, it is called GRAPAS and further information can be found on this at www.grapas.eu
