Danube Soya can draw a positive balance of the year 2014. Already 175 members of 17 countries are working on a European protein strategy. 50.000 Tons of soya beans were certified in the Danube Region with the acceptance of a high number of new certified partners. The total soya cultivation area in the Danube Region has increased by 100.000ha and will have a similar potential in 2015. The list of Danube Soya processors has grown and the availability of products has increased significantly with the availability of High-Protein Danube Soya Soymeal.
This is making an impact on spreads on NON-GM soya in Central Europe already, which is currently down to 10-40 Euros per ton, compared to up to 125 Euros last year according to latest market data (February 2015) of the Agriculture Exchange in Vienna.
For 2015 we are happy to invite you to two major events: The Danube Soya B2B Forum will take place on the 23th of March in Vienna and the Danube Soya East – West Protein Forum in the framework of the event “GMO-free Europe – Future Opportunities and Challenges” will take place on the 7th of May in Berlin. Registration is open!
