The new HIT 6.80 T
Pöttinger has integrated the latest technical developments from its latest tedder models into the trailed 6-rotor HIT 6.80 T with a working width of 7.45 m. As a result, professional tedding technology is now available for smaller farms too. Thanks to its low power requirement, the new tedder can also be used with smaller tractors.
Pöttinger has now implemented the innovative rotor units and frames used on its newest tedder models on the smaller HIT models too, to guarantee clean and tidy operation: tidy grass pick-up, clean forage, tidy spread pattern and a clean machine. These are the key advantages of the DYNATECH rotor unit. On the HIT 6.80 T, Pöttinger also offers hydraulic fenceline tedding as an option.
The rotor diameter of 1.67 m on the HIT 6.80 T with six swept tine arms ensure optimum tedding quality and perfect ground tracking. The swept-back shape of the arms ensures that the crop cannot snag and there is no wrapping around the rotor.
BOSS ALPIN – The professional in steep terrain
Steep slopes, uneven terrain and huge differences in elevation - these are the operating conditions that Pöttinger, the world´s leading manufacturer of load wagons, has become closely acquainted with over many decades. The new BOSS ALPIN 211, 251 and 291 are perfectly designed for these conditions – high output, smooth running and safe on slopes.
The new BOSS ALPIN models are full-blooded alpinists and replace the BOSS LT series. In addition to sleek new looks, the BOSS ALPIN offers a floating pick-up with a freedom of movement of 150 mm and a hydraulic tailgate. As an option, a hydraulic automatically-controlled pivoting drawbar is available: "AUTOTAST" continuously senses the position of each end of the pick-up to control the ideal opening between the pick-up and loading unit. The advantages are enormous. AUTOTAST guarantees perfect ground tracking and forage collection as well as best forage quality in difficult, bumpy, alpine terrain. Thanks to the constant height regulation, the pick-up is protected and at the same time a uniform flow of forage from the pick-up to the loading unit is ensured. In addition, the automatic adjustment of the pick-up system takes the stress off the driver. The regulation speed is adjustable and enables a forward speed whilst loading of up to 8 kph.
The control concept has also been revised: Like on the larger models, the BOSS ALPIN is now available with modern SELECT and DIRECT CONTROL operating system. As standard, the machine is operated hydraulically directly from the tractor remotes.
LION 103: New power harrow series, the „leightweights“ for versatile operations
The new series is a "lightweight" compared to conventional power harrows and offers two versions - the LION 103 and the LION 103 CLASSIC. LION 103 CLASSIC is the lightweight power harrow series, ideal for small, 4-cylinder tractors. These machines are only available with the CLASSIC gear box for up to 140 hp. The CLASSIC version is available with working widths of 2.50 m and 3 m. The LION 103 features a working width of 3 m or 4 m.
The main advantage of the new series is its reduced weight and the resulting lower lifting power needed. The new gear trough is closer to the front of the machine and slanted to the rear to optimise weight distribution. The gear trough has also been redesigned to include features such as weight-optimised bearing units, integrated tine carriers, large dimensioned tapered roller bearings and labyrinth seals. The cover, which is made out of 3-mm thick aluminium plate, is now slanted. Not only does it look sleeker, it also contributes to reducing weight as well as having the advantage of reducing contamination.
.This series can be fitted with all the equipment options available for the LION 102 series. As a result, a wide selection of rear rollers is available to meet all specifications.
