The first edition of ENOVITIS BUSINESS, a new event format focussing entirely on the vineyard, will be held at SIMEI (the International Exhibition of Machinery for Winemaking and Bottling), the world's leading trade fair in wine technology, from 3 to 6 November 2015.
The Unione Italiana Vini (Italian Wine Union) has been organising events focusing on products, equipment and services for wine growing and olive growing under the ENOVITIS brand since 1997. Again under the Enovitis brand in February 2014, the Unione Italiana Vini – the main Association in the wine sector - and Veronafiere – the most prestigious Italian trade fair platform in the agricultural sector with international scope - signed a partnership to achieve the goal of becoming the European reference for the promotion of vine growing technology.
“The UIV's commitment to sustainable vine growing also involves the promotion of technology”, Francesco Pavanello, General Director of the Unione Italiana Vini emphasised. “The ENOVITIS System has been created for the effective promotion of technological innovation in vine growing. It consists of interrelated events conceived in 3 different formats: one an exhibition format at Fieragricola, one an applied format in the field and one focussing on business matching. The objective of the latter, ENOVITIS BUSINESS, is the organisation of a diary matching the best proposals from the national and international markets with 300 top Italian and foreign clients as well as a large audience of visitors”.
ENOVITIS BUSINESS is a brand new networking event. It is designed to guarantee visitors and exhibitors new business prospects and an unmissable opportunity for professional updating thanks to the intense training programme: precision agriculture, system and landscape management, soil-fertility-water “system”, plant management, health management, harvest management and financial management.
These topics will be the focus of the Innovation Workshops at ENOVITIS BUSINESS sponsored by Conaf (National Council of Agronomists and Foresters) to be held over the four days of the event by leading Italian and foreign speakers and representatives of academic and private research bodies. The aim of the workshops is to give concrete answers to the needs of modern viticulture.
From 1st September, visitors may already enter the world of the next edition of ENOVITIS BUSINESS 2015.
