Again Zuidberg wins the silver medal at the Agritechnica with CVT Front PTO!
Zuidberg presents a series of new products at the Agritechnica 2015. One of these innovations, the CVT Front PTO is awarded with the silver medal by the Commission of the DLG. These prestigious medals are awarded at the Agritechnica by an independent committee for innovative products for agriculture and related sectors.
The CVT front PTO, developed in collaboration with CVT Corp (Canada), is for use on tractors to drive machines to the required predetermined speed, regardless of the engine speed of the tractor. The advantage is a higher and more consistent work accuracy and fuel savings.
The advantages are:
- Automatic system that always generates the correct output speed for the machine steplessly
- Increased quality of the delivered work because the PTO always has the same, preset speed.
- Provides fuel economy because the engine of the tractor works in a favorable range.
- Optimised utilization of the tractor
- Stepless variable speed range of the PTO
- Higher comfort because the tractor runs at a lower rpm, resulting in reduced sound levels
Second medal in a row
In 2013 Zuidberg also won a silver medal for the new 2-stage transmission for driving a front winch for forestry tractors. This transmission and its derivative, ECO Twin PTO, since launch have been sold successfully.
Innovation Agritechnica: High Speed Track System Concept
No speed reduction, no adjustment to tractor ratio and increased comfort
With conventional after-market track systems the tractor's driving speed is reduced by approximately 40% and by only using rear tracks a mechanical four-wheel drive cannot be engaged. The new Zuidberg High Speed Track System only replaces the rear wheels with tracks and the front wheels remain intact.
Interchangeability between high speed tracks and tires is guaranteed
The major advantage of this track system is that by an easy conversion the tractor can continue driving on wheels, unlike other ´solutions´. You can just keep all the advantages of tracks, more traction, narrow construction and lower ground pressure, combined with the advantages of the manoeuvrability of the tractor.
Unique solution with integrated transmission
The unique solution with the integrated patented transmission keeps the tractor's mechanical ratio intact, which means that the vehicle suffers no speed reduction and you can just keep on using the four-wheel drive.
Increased comfort through new suspension concept
The High Speed Track System has a brand new suspension concept. In this suspension system, not only the bogie wheels are suspended, as is common in other track systems, but the entire track system including the idler wheels are suspended as well. This is achieved by a fixed mounting frame to be mounted on the tractor provided with pivot points and a hydraulic cylinder with an accumulator.
The suspension has a stroke of 80 mm. In addition, the bogie wheels can be commute sideways independently in order to follow the contour of the road. This new suspension concept does not only increase the user´s comfort, but also extends the lifetime of both tractor and track system.
