180 cows will take part in European competition next June. 60 Red Holstein will compete for the Grand Champion title, Friday, June 17, before eyes of Jaume SERRABASSA VILA (Spain) and 120 Holstein will do the same next day, Saturday, June 18, 2016, with the judgment of Markus MOCK (Germany). Therefore a substantial number of cows, which should delight fans of black and red and so make a wonderful show on these two days.

Except for Austria, all participating countries will give their chance to 1 or 2 young breeders for the European showmanship. Again, the competition will be spread over two days, with a clipping session on Friday morning from 9:30 to 14:00 and the passages in the ring for the showmanship on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30. Competition will be judged by Erica Rijneveld (Netherlands) and Zsolt Korosi (Hungary). 30 young breeders will be divided in two categories: junior (16-20 years) and senior (21-25 years).

The organizing committee wishes good preparation to all breeders and young participants. Arrival in the Colmar Exhibition park planned on June 14, 2016 for cows and young breeders.
