As Division Director Feed NWE, Ronald will be responsible for the further expansion of Feed activities in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The Agrifirm Feed NWE division is a leader in livestock feeds in the Netherlands and an influential player in Germany and Belgium. The division has six production sites and a transshipment company in the Netherlands. An additional four production sites are located in Belgium and Germany. Other key division business units include Agrifirm Co-Products/Bonda, the Oldambt Drying Plant and the Agrifirm Innovation Centre.

Ronald was previously employed as the COO of ForFarmers Germany and Belgium. Prior to this he worked for an extended period of time at Hendrix UTD in various management and executive positions. Ronald succeeds Joost Helsen in this position. Joost has worked for Agrifirm for the past 8 years and during this period has made an important contribution to the creation and expansion of Agrifirm. Over the past year Joost was responsible for the formation of the Feed NWE division. Joost will continue to pursue his career outside Agrifirm.

On 1 October, he will hand over his responsibilities to his successor. Agrifirm is very grateful for his efforts over the years and thanks him for his valuable contribution to the company.
