Tele wheel loaders are always used when customers demand the classic advantages of a wheel loader (e.g. a central high seating position, compactness, a high efficiency output, and the additional plus of stacking height or reach). With the KL25.5T, Kramer has once again responded to special customer requests. Those who own a Kramer KL19.5 mini loader (the platform of which served as a basis for this development) are extremely satisfied with their machines. However, for certain areas of application (e.g. the filling of high-sided vehicles) the insufficient dumping height was criticised. This problem was initially solved with an L-version (model designation KL19.5L) of the machine featuring a longer loader unit. This is still available. Thanks to the compact tele wheel loader, the filling of high-sided transport vehicles no longer poses a problem.
The tele wheel loader is part of Kramer's 5 series. Customers are sure to be impressed by the shove pivot point of up to 4.25 m and a maximum stack load of 1650 kg. With its compact dimensions (height: 2.45 m, width: 1.60 m), the Kramer KL25.5T also provides all of the advantages of a mini loader.
Thanks to this new machine from Kramer, completely new application areas will be developed for the wheel loader. The Kramer KL25.5T is ideally suited for filling feed mixers and stacking bales higher. If the machine is also equipped with Powerflow auxiliary hydraulics, the range of applications can be further expanded: Attachments such as a snow blower or mulcher can be operated.
The 5 series
The 5 series, the economy series of Kramer, includes six wheel loaders, an electric wheel loader and two tele wheel loaders with tipping loads of 1.0–3.7 t. This does not involve the following models. KL10.5, KL12.5, KL19.5, KL31.5, and KL37.5; the KL25.5T tele wheel loader; KL30.5T; the KL25.5e electric wheel loader. From top to bottom, the machines have been completely revised from the 2014/2015 models (only applies to the KL31.5, KL37.5, and KL30.5T).
The engine concept not only features high performance efficiency of 23 kW (27 kW optional with KL12.5), 35 kW, or 55 kW, but also a sophisticated exhaust technology. The Yanmar engines in models KL10.5, KL12.5, KL19.5, KL25.5T, and KL31.5 fulfil the requirements of exhaust gas level 3A, while the Kohler engines in models KL30.5T and KL37.5 (55 kW) fulfil the requirements of exhaust level 3B and are equipped with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) as a standard feature. Thanks to the maintenance-free DOC, there is no downtime because, unlike the alternative diesel particle filter (DPF), an active frequency is no longer required.
The modern cab design and the intuitive operating concept also set new standards in ergonomics and functionality for fatigue-free work. The ergonomic arrangement of the operator's controls as well as the unobstructed view of the attachments was also a key focus of the engineers. The intuitive operation of the all-in-one joystick and the coloured marking of the illuminated switches also ensure safe operation of the machine at all times. The hanging pedals are designed for fatigue-free and precise operation in any situation (only applies to the KL31.5, KL37.5, and KL30.5T).
