Mitas, part of Trelleborg Group, is introducing a new mobile tire pressure app for Android and iOS devices but also for Windows phone*.

The new app will allow farmers to easily find the right pressure for their tires to achieve the best results in the field and on the road. Farmers just need to select the tires size they are using, the set up speed and cargo weight, and the right tire pressure immediately display on the screen of their mobile phone. The Mitas application can be downloaded here: https://www.mitas-info.com/

Pavel Kott, Product Manager for Mitas agricultural tires, says: “Mitas is aware of the importance of the correct tire pressure settings for agricultural work. Tires with the right pressure not only cause less damage to the soil through compaction but also provide better traction, lower slippage and positively influence fuel consumption.”

The user-friendly interface of the Mitas tire pressure app allows farmers to quickly choose their tires from a list of available Mitas tire sizes and tread patterns. Full text search by parameters is also an option. The speed can be set in kilometers or miles per hour and the cargo weight (load per tire) either in kilograms or pounds. The resulting tire pressure is presented in BAR or PSI.

“Correct tire pressure is key factor which influences the productivity of agricultural work and I believe this new mobile app brings added value to our customers, the farmers,” concludes Kott.

*Available for: Android 4.1.2. or later; iOS 8.0 or later; Windows Phone 10 or later
