When switching to a Walterscheid Power Drive ‘campaign PTO drive shaft', participants will benefit from a price advantage of more than 1,000€ or up to 38 per cent when compared to the recommended retail price.
As part of this campaign, seven different Power Drive models are available. These models are pre-configured for a broad range of operating situations such as on loading wagons and round or big balers, for example.
Thanks to this pre-configuration, only minor modifications need to be taken care of by service partners, thus allowing for a short term delivery.
“With this campaign, we want to facilitate the entry to the professional class of GKN Walterscheid. When retrofitting is considered, ‘too complicated, too expensive, too time-consuming' are frequently heard arguments. With our Upgrade-Weeks, we now offer operators a quick and cost-effective upgrade to enable them to test the Power Drive wide-angle PTO drive shafts in practice at the beginning of the next grassland season”, explains Guido Hermann, Sales Manager at GKN Service, the background of this campaign.
Quick exchange
Based on machine type or reference number, participating Walterscheid Service Partners can quickly and easily identify the right drive shaft in the Walterscheid Power Drive range.
Top performance in wide-angle PTO drive shafts
Power Drive series P480, P580 and P675 represent the premium class of wide-angle PTO drive shafts. Due to the unique spherical plain bearing technology as well as the improved sealing of the low wear centring system, they offer better performance and longer
service life.
Other than market standard, high forces which result from bending are not transmitted via wear-intensive point loads in this patented centring system. Due to the spherical plain bearings these loads are spread across a wide contactarea.
Power Drive PTO drive shafts were specifically designed for continuous operation. For simplified handling of Power Drive PTO drive shafts, guard cones can easily be unlocked and pushed back, thus facilitating coupling and uncoupling. The integrated guard reinforcement internal bracing allows the use of particularly flexible cones, thus offering increased safety. Profiled, thick-walled guard tubes prevent rotation of the two guard halves in relation to each other. There is no need for a holding chain on the side of the tractor.
In the version with complete protection, there generally is no need for holding chains. Power Drive PTO drive shafts only need to be serviced once per season.
