The acquisition of the Polish compound feed company Bacutil is in line with the strategy aimed at expanding the core activities compound feed, arable farming, horticulture and specialties. The growth of the foreign activities in areas such as Central and Eastern Europe is an important strategic focal point.
Bacutil is a company that mainly focuses on the poultry sector, both broiler chickens and laying hens, and has a production site in Bedlno Radzyńskie, in East Poland. Due to the favourable location of Bacutil, also in combination with the spread of the other production sites in Poland, Agrifirm has practically realised national coverage. The company is now present in all major agricultural production areas in Poland. The Bacutil production site currently has a capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year.

Bacutil is a company with approximately 50 employees who, after the acquisition by Agrifirm, will continue to work for the company. The company has a production capacity of 100,000 tonnes, which can be further expanded. From this site, Agrifirm will provide a complete package of products and services to the customers.
