They met to start off the partnership of CLAAS and ASKO (from left to right): Gökhan Bayramoglu, (Sales & Marketing Director, ASKO), Stephan Klosterkamp (Regional President Africa & Middle East, CLAAS), Ertan Pasa (Board Member, ASKO), Hüseyin Hamut (Chairman of the Board , ASKO), Carsten Wolk (Regional Export Manager, CLAAS), Levent Kiroglu (Board Member, ASKO).
ASKO is a member of the well-known SANKO Group, a family owned business with successful branches in many areas of the Turkish industrial sector, including manufacturing tractors and construction machinery.
ASKO will expand the current dealer network in Turkey. The particular objective is to ensure nationwide supply of after-sales service. "Besides selling machinery, the idea behind teaming up with ASKO is to get closer to our customers and to advance and improve our parts and machinery service. Naturally we also want to continue professionalising and expanding our product consulting and sales by creating regional contact centres that cater to the needs of our consumers," explains Stephan Klosterkamp, Regional President, Africa & Middle East.
The agricultural sector is extremely important in Turkey, so the country offers a great deal of potential for CLAAS. ASKO will appear in public as the new CLAAS partner for the first time at the agricultural fair Bursa Agriculture from 11 to 15 October.
