Extraordinary and impressive is BKT's appearance  at this 2018 edition of THE TIRE COLOGNE. A giant dumper of about 6.5 tons – for the first time seen at a trade show – and a tractor of 1.500 kg weight - both made of Plexiglas - will be a crowd-puller at the over-500-sqm-large booth of the Indian-based multinational group, a major global player in the Off-Highway tire market. This effective setting provides additional value to the selection of top-of-the-range tires for every sector from agricultural and agro-industrial to earthmoving, OTR, industrial and constructions – all fields, in which the company has been working successfully for a long while and has gained recognition for its expertise.

The extraordinary 1:1-scaled dumper is equipped with six EARTHMAX SR 45 M tires, size 24.00 R 35. These solutions that are specifically conceived for rigid dumpers feature an All Steel casing, a deep E-4 class tread along with a particularly cut resistant compound. Essential properties to ensure excellent traction and resistance even for long-haul transport at harsh conditions.

Along with this giant vehicle, a transparent tractor, which has already been present at trade shows, is displayed with likewise impressive dimensions. It is made of 1.500 kg of Plexiglas and equipped with highly innovative tires, namely AGRIMAX V-FLECTO sized VF 710/60 R 42 NRO and VF 600/60 R 30 NRO - a winning mix of technologies enhancing the performance of latest-generation tractors for any field. It is the perfect response to modern farming thanks to unique and distinct features such as reduced soil compaction, less operating costs, double usage in the fields and on the road without the need for inflation pressure changes, and increased load capacity (+40%) at the same pressure of a standard tire of the same size. A peerless tire that excels for both performance and reliability.

Ample space has been dedicated to the cutting-edge products in each field. The farming sector is represented by AGRIMAX FORCE, sized IF 900/60 R 42, and AGRIMAX TERIS, on display in size 800/65 R 32, whereas for agro-industrial handling equipment, there is CON STAR to be viewed at the fair in size 400/70 – 24. For the industrial sector, there is PORTMAX PT 93, on display, size 280/75 R 22.5, and last but not least, AIROMAX AM 27, sized 445/95 R 25, a crane tire for constructions.

In addition to being functional, the booth layout is definitely innovative and creative as evidenced by this dumper built of a steel bearing structure, 68 connection pipes and 530 lathed Nylon spacers that are fitting and holding together 127 panes of Plexiglas (4 tons), which have been cut with laser technology – an extraordinary assembly showing a weight of 65 tons. This style perfectly matches BKT's philosophy in terms of trade show appearances, which has always been considered both a meeting venue and a place of entertainment. BKT displays top-of-the-range tires for every segment at THE TIRE COLOGNE 2018

At  the trade show in Cologne, a selection of cutting-edge tires for the agricultural, agro-industrial, earthmoving, OTR, industrial, and construction sectors are on display.

The Indian-based multinational group, a major global player in the Off-Highway tire market, exhibits at THE TIRE COLOGNE 2018 top-of-the-range tires for every segment. These tires fitted on a crystal-clear dumper made of Plexiglas as a first for the public and the already known tractor in Plexiglas, respectively – two real crowd-pullers at the BKT stand. Specifically designed for rigid dumpers is EARTHMAX SR 45 M, a winning mix of features providing excellent traction and resistance even for long-haul transport. A feast for the eyes is AGRIMAX V-FLECTO, the perfect response to latest-generation tractors in modern farming. To represent the agricultural tire lineup, first of all, there is BKT's masterpiece AGRIMAX FORCE, exhibited in size IF 900/60 R 42. Designed with BKT's further developed IF technology, this radial tire provides high-power tractors with a wide footprint enabling a uniform load distribution along with reduced soil compaction at the same time. Still part of the AGRIMAX series is AGRIMAX TERIS, displayed in size 800/65 R 32, specifically engineered for high-power harvesters and spreaders. Excellent flotation properties along with exceptional traction and stability are the great plus of this radial tire ensuring best soil protection in addition to top harvesting performance supporting heavy loads.

For agro-industrial handling equipment such as backhoe loaders, compact loaders and telehandlers, instead,  there is CON STAR to be viewed at the fair in size 400/70 – 24. This solution provides great lateral and vertical stability – an essential feature for lifting operations. Ample lugs to support heavy loads increase the contact patch on the surface. Noteworthy also its longer product life-cycle thanks to a special compound distinguishing itself by extraordinary resistance against cuts and all typical damages that might occur during these operations.

For the industrial sector, BKT presents PORTMAX PT 93, sized 280/75 R 22.5, for terminal tractors employed in heavy-duty operations at ports, container terminals as well as logistics and distribution centers. The special antistatic tread compound ensures excellent wear resistance even at critical conditions reducing replacement intervals and relative downtime to a minimum. Rounding off the picture is AIROMAX AM 27, exhibited in size 445/95 R 25, a crane tire for the construction sector that is suitable for applications both on road surfaces and the aggressive terrains at construction sites.
