The technical sectors of Weidemann GmbH are divided in the future between the two directors, Martin Eppinger (Operations) and Thomas Tilly (R&D). Martin Eppinger is responsible for the departments of Production, Purchasing, Logistics and Quality of Weidemann GmbH and Kramer-Werke GmbH.

Thomas Tilly is responsible for the department of Research and Development of all product groups of the two brands. The 41-year old qualified mechanical engineer, Thomas Tilly finished his entire professional career with Claas Selbstfahrende Erntemaschinen GmbH in Harsewinkel. There he was last engaged as Division Manager in Research and Development for Sparte self-propelled forage harvesters in the entire product stewardship.

The strategic goal of focussing the sector ‘Operations and F&E' is to extend the already strong market position of wheel loaders, telescopic wheel loaders and telehandlers of the established brands Weidemann and Kramer and Wacker Neuson, both nationally and internationally. Thus, future synergies within the Wacker Neuson Group between the production and development facilities specialised in loading technology shall be played out and the brands strengthened. The product development will align more intensely with the local customer and market needs, which will be strengthened via close exchange with dealers and end users.
