As AveSui marks its 19th edition, it has been joined by the DLG (German Agricultural Society) and its EuroTier brand for this year's exhibition. Taking place every two years at Hanover, Germany, EuroTier (which translates literally as Euro Animal) has grown into the world's largest exhibition of innovation in livestock production, and the DLG will use the expertise it has built to bring a range of appropriate new technologies for Latin America's animal husbandry sector to Brazil. AveSui EuroTier South America offers its visitors for the very first time the opportunity to interact with exhibitors at the German Pavilion presented by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in cooperation with the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and organized in partnership with DLG and IFW Expo Heidelberg GmbH.
Visitors to Medianeira's LAR Convention Centre for AveSui EuroTier South America 2019 will have the opportunity to interact with companies showcasing innovative and exciting technologies and solutions for the livestock sector, as well as a technical and conference programme tailored to the different animal farming markets.
The event will feature a number of panels with topics as diverse as Protein Market Development and Sustainability; Biomass & Bioenergy; Fish; and Euthanasia Methods for Swine and Poultry; as well as several others. There will also be Swine and Poultry Insemination Workshops.
DLG Agrifuture Insights – Market intelligence from Brazil
The technical programme at AveSui EuroTier South America 2019 will also feature an important input from DLG's Agrifuture Insights – a pool of assessments made by a global panel of leading farmers looking at the business environment and trends in management and technology. Critical information from the results discovered in Brazil will be presented at the DLG Forum on the 23rd and 24th of July from 10 - 10:45 hrs.
Precision Animal Farming
Visitors of AveSui EuroTier South America can participate in two seminars on Precision Animal Farming – with a focus on how digitalisation and automatization influences dairy farming and pig farming. The Precision Dairy Farming Presentation and the Precision Pig Farming Presentation will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Agr. Martin Ziron; Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen on the 23rd of July 2019 from 11 -11:45 hrs and on the 24th July 2019 from Noon-12:45 hrs at the DLG Forum respectively.
Welfare in pig production
AveSui EuroTier South America 2019 will host two pig health seminars as a part of the DLG Forum. Expert in the area Dr. Med. vet. Hendrik Nienhoff will detail areas on how to improve and establish a high health status on pig farms on Tuesday 23rd July 2019 from Noon - 12:45 hrs followed by a presentation on the trending topic of Biosecurity and the prevention and control of diseases in pigs on the 24th of July 2019 from Noon – 12:45 hrs.
Role of Aquaculture in Brazil
Moderated by Dr. Itamar de Paiva Rocha former president of the Brazilian Federation of Shrimp Breeders, visitors at AveSui EuroTier South America can look forward to this innovative and interesting panel discussion looking to the future of Aquaculture in the region. Joined by Francisco das Chagas de Medeiros the president of the Brazilian Tilapia Association and Cristiano Peixoto Maia, Shrimp producers and president of the Brazilian Federation of Shrimp Breeders, the panel discussion on the future of Tilapia and Shrimp production in Brazil will take place at the DLG Forum on the 24th July 2019 from 1 – 3:45 hrs.
AveSui EuroTier South America 2019 is the first of three new EuroTier-branded events taking place for the first time this year. It will be followed by “EuroTier Middle East” from 2nd to 4th September and by “EuroTier China” from 19th to 21st September. AveSui EuroTier South America takes place at the LAR Convention Centre, Medianeira, Brazil, from the 23rd to 25th July.
