Every farmer or contractor can create a free agrirouter account at https://my-agrirouter.com and create their own individual ecosystem of machines and agricultural software solutions. After connecting machines and farming software solutions, the data exchange via the agrirouter can take place in the background and thus simplify processes and improve profitability. Each user puts together his or her own personal agrirouter and determines who may exchange which data with whom and to what extent.
So far, the approach is supported by an open consortium of eleven well-known agricultural machinery manufacturers, who have jointly recognized that Farming 4.0 only works if manufacturer-independent data exchange is possible.
Currently the companies AGCO, AMAZONE, DEUTZ-FAHR, EXEL-Industries, GRIMME, HORSCH, KRONE, KUHN, LEMKEN, PÖTTINGER and RAUCH (in alphabetical order) are on this list. Some are multi-brand companies, so the number of brands that agrirouter supports is higher and growing. Irrespective of the size of the company and the date of accession, each consortium member has one vote. This also applies to other interested parties from the field of agricultural engineering who wish to play a shareholder role in the consortium.
The open and non-discriminatory approach also allows other market participants (e.g. app and hardware providers) to offer their digital products for the optimization of agricultural production processes on an online marketplace on the my-agrirouter website.
The new data exchange platform is currently available with user interfaces in French, English and German. For further information please do not hesitate to contact us and/or visit the agrirouter website "https://www.my-agrirouter.com".
