New exhibition dates: 18-20 May, 2021; AGROS, the leading DLG trade fair in Russia, offers an extensive trade fair and specialist program; the traditional trade fair format to be complemented by “AGROS Digital” offering digital content reaching wider audience
Due to the uncertain situation surrounding the pandemic, DLG RUS, the organiser of AGROS, has concluded that it will not be possible to hold the event to the usual high standards on the original scheduled dates in January 2021. AGROS, the leading DLG trade fair for modern animal husbandry, animal breeding and forage production in Russia, will therefore be postponed by five months and will take place from 18 to 20 May 2021 at the international exhibition center "Crocus Expo" in Moscow, Russia.
The decision to postpone AGROS was made in close consultation with the exhibitors, partners, authorities and representatives of the Russian agricultural sector. This decision is welcomed by Russian and foreign exhibitors as well as speakers of the business programme. The top priority for the organiser is the health of the exhibitors, visitors, partners and its staff.
The AGROS trade fair attracts livestock and related manufacturers and suppliers from Russia and 27 other countries, which together offer industry professionals from more than 80 regions in Russia and neighbouring countries a wide range of technologies, equipment, products and services for modern cattle, pig, poultry, sheep, goat and rabbit, aquaculture and forage production.
In 2021, the traditional trade fair format will be complemented by the digital platform “AGROS Digital”. With this new concept, the trade fair organiser DLG RUS is enabling even wider access to modern technologies and current knowledge for Russian livestock professionals, while allowing manufacturers and providers of modern industry solutions to increase the reach of their target groups.
The AGROS trade fair traditionally offers an extensive business programme , covering the latest topics in animal and forage production. "Healthy Animals - Healthy Consumers" is the guiding theme of the business programme at AGROS 2021. The majority of the over 40 specialist events will be broadcast online on the new AGROS Digital platform, launched this year.
The AGROS fair is organized with the support of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the National Associations of Milk Producers, Poultry Breeders, Pig Breeders, Beef Producers, Cattle Breeders, the National Bio-Union, the Skolkovo Innovation Center.
AGROS will take place from 18 to 20 May 2021 at the international exhibition centre "Crocus Expo" in Moscow, Russia.
In the long term, the month of January remains the preferred date for holding the fair.
