The global B2B meeting place for agricultural and food systems of the future will be next year's "Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show" of the DLG (German Agricultural Society). It will take place from 12 to 18 November 2023 on the Hanover Trade Fair Grounds as part of Agritechnica, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery.
Closely networked with agricultural practice, "Inhouse Farming" offers specialist information, perspectives, innovations and business - from feed to food. As a result, it optimally complements the world's leading trade fair and its guiding theme "Green Productivity" with new ideas from in-house farming and controlled environment agriculture. The registration phase for exhibitors has started.
Global food security through new agricultural production systems is one of the central tasks of the future. In the context of climate change, resource and production efficiency as well as advancing digitalisation, intelligent strategies of sustainable, technology-based food production are being developed. Modern agriculture plays a pioneering role here – from raw material suppliers to producers. With the "Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show", the DLG has created a new platform for agricultural and food systems of the future. "We need an intensive exchange for a successful transformation of the agricultural and food sector. With the 'Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show' at Agritechnica, we want to rethink the value chain and initiate and advance visions. As the leading competence network for future issues in agriculture and food, the DLG is predestined as a platform for global future issues of food security," says Marcus Vagt, DLG Division Manager for Energy, Inhouse Farming and New Foods.
Many advantages – visitors with potential
Exhibitors at the "Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show" benefit in many ways from Agritechnica, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery, which will take place at the same time. Because not only will all the market leaders in agricultural machinery and decision-makers in modern crop cultivation be on site in Hanover, a high-calibre trade audience will also be reached immediately. 446,871 trade visitors from 144 countries attended Agritechnica 2019, of which 225,000 came from the agricultural and food sectors. The attention of the international trade press is also assured. 1,478 journalists and bloggers from 50 countries reported on trends and innovations at the previous Agritechnica.
