With a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Genoa, Mr Scopinich has extensive experience in the construction equipment industry, where he held management positions in sales, service, rental and fleet customer management.

He said: "I am excited and honoured by the new position. CASE has a very close-knit team and a comprehensive and technologically advanced range of machines and services. The CASE dealer network, to which I will bring all my experience gained in the field over the years, is the strength of the brand and together I hope to exceed our customers' expectations."

Alessandro Scopinich replaces Barbara Caporali, who now holds the position of Head of Network Development Europe, at CNH Industrial.
