2013-2019: Technician in Research Laboratories, liposomes and flow cytometry with Saccharomyces cerevisiae, ozone decontamination on Cryptosporidium parvum and anaerobic study with Faecalibacterium prautnizii; at Unilasalle, Université de Bourgogne, Welience and AgroSup Dijon (France)

2020: Starts goat farming career at agricultural vocational training of Quetigny (Burgundy France) 2021-2023: Employee at several dairy goat farm in Burgundy (France)

Bike Project resume

- A goat farm bike trip around Europe

- Timing: 1,5 year (April 2024 to October 2025)

- Locomotion way: Bike with a carrel for my dog Lula

Bike Project objectives

- To observe and gather the most sustainable modes of operation from the visited low input, small size goat farms in European countries (Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Portugal and France);

- To build a network and contacts for further information demands on aspects of genetics, feed, milk production and transformation, ecological and economical sustainability;

- To communicate gathered results of my visit to the center of studies contacted prior my departure;

- To prepare for the set-up of my goat farm in France inspired by my experience and visits.

Center of interest

- Farm area: cereal crops, straw, hay, pasture, rotation, goat number/ha. Talk about climate and climate change.

- Herd management: pattern of the herd with the entries and exits (renewal, reforms, baby goat way etc.);

- Milk production and transformation : milk quantity / year/ goat, production time, production management at peak lactation, transformations type;

- Marketing ways ;

- Flock feed: forage, concentrates (barley, corn, food, etc.) and quantity / goat ;

- Equipment: building, equipment, cheese dairy ;

- Work timing gestion : worker number, UMO, work on-call → week schema;

- Strengths et and weakness.

Final project, set-up of my goat farm

- Creation or resumption of a goat farm in 2026

- Herd of 40 goat from rustic race

- Pasture as alimentation basis

- Lactic and PPNC cheese dairy transformation, yogurts, cheese strainers

- Meat processing of reforms and baby goats (fed on the farm)

- Short circuit marketing: farm gate sales, markets, AMAP deliveries and grocery stores
