The unique combination of mechanical row guidance with GNSS-based headlandturning for the very first time an automatic turn on the headland becomes possible for self propelled harvesters – including both lifting and re-using the lifting unit and the necessary steering maneuvers.

The clear commitment to ISOBUS, which Reichhardt has already shown in 2009 with their ISOBUS compatible PSR steering system and which has continously pursued during the last years, will be presented at Agritechnica in a ISO product family both for the after sales market as well as for OEM partners. They will exhibit an ISOBUS retrofit cable harness as basic kit, an ISOBUS joystick in two options, a new retrofittable electronic ISOBUS linkage control with pressure and position control and a virtual ISOBUS implement for easier operation and better documentation. ISO FLEX allows using various devices instead of ISO VTs.

Automatic steering via various sensors is one of the unique characteristics within the PSR product family. The big advantage is, that the focus of the automatic steering systems is on the row crop and thus higher speed together with very high accuracy can be realized.

New applications are available for steering options with the flexible tactile sensor PSR TAC in plant protection and for ultrasound sensors PSR SONIC in winegrowing. Reichhardt PSR Guidance Systems are available on the retrofit market and interesting for OEM partners.

• HOLMER Smart Turn – the clever way to steer.
  HOLMER Smart Turn is an integrated software solution for the sugar beet harvester Terra DOS T4 developed by Reichhardt and Holmer. For the very first time the software combines the mechanical row guidance at the beet harvester with a GNSS-steered headland turning. Thus an automatic headland turning for self propelled harvesters is first possible – including both lifting and re-using the lifting unit and the necessary steering maneuvers. • PSR TAC in plant protection applications
  PSR TAC – steering with flexible tactile sensors as option within the PSR steering system by Reichhardt has now been detected also for plant protection applications. Up to now its advantages have been seen in the optimum supplement to corn harvesters and choppers, last but not least because of its reliability also in silage corn. Now more and more PSR TAC is used on self propelled sprayers – in Europe as well as in USA.

PSR TAC in plant protection allows accurate steering in row corps. This reduces the risk of plant damage, helps the driver to find the next row in combination with GNSS and protects the environment.

• PSR SONIC in winegrowing
  PSR SONIC has long been known for accurate guidance along the edge in rows and bank-corps. Now it is possible to use PSR SONIC for accurate guidance in vine rows. The relief of the driver and a higher concentration to the work performed are paramount. The new application is available as retrofit option and interesting for OEM partners.
