Polagra Premiery, an international agricultural trade fair that is particularly popular in Eastern and Central Europe, presents awards every iteration of the fair recognizing the best agricultural innovations of the year. The new telehandler, MLT 420, is among the winners and received the Gold Medal. The jury of researchers and experts in the agricultural sector particularly admired the compactness of the machine, in contrast with its comfortable and spacious cabin. Its versatility and its design also influenced the jury's decision.
At only 1.97 m high and 1.49 m wide, the MLT 420 offers farmers a choice of 4 steering modes and a very short turning radius of 3.06 m. Ideal for operating in tight spots, the MLT 420 is the perfect partner for handling bales, maintaining stables, or feeding livestock. This new model is equipped with a 57 ch Kubota Stage V engine and a hydrostatic transmission and has a capacity of 2 tons for a maximum lifting height of 4.35 m. With 4-wheel drive, mudguards, and an automatic radiator unclogging system, this new rough-terrain telehandler is perfectly suited to agricultural environments, which are often tricky. The machine's TCO has also been optimized, thanks to:
- easy access to the various engine components, enabling maintenance operations to be carried out rapidly,
- the model's connectivity in the standard configuration makes it possible to understand the machine better and optimize its use.
The MLT 420 telehandler became available at Manitou dealerships in Europe and North America in the second half of 2019.
