The festive season is here! We're preparing for a busy year which begins with LAMMA in January, followed by Ernest Doe Power Show, and a number of dealer open days to follow. We'll see you there…Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Case IH team.

Ride & Drive at Shuttleworth

Last month we held a press Ride and Drive event at Mansion House, Shuttleworth Agricultural College, Bedfordshire, to introduce the latest Case IH products. Members of the press were invited to view and test the machines we had on display including a Magnum CVX 370 and Maxxum CVX 130, both with cultivation implements attached which were lent to us by Case IH dealer Collings Brothers of Abbotsley. There was also a new Farmall U Pro with an LRZ100 loader and bale press for journalists to drive and test their prowess handling round bales. Thanks to Lynx Engineering and the College team for their support in the setup of this event, which was a great success. It wasn't just the press who were interested in the display as over 50 college students came to watch the tractors in action and were given the opportunity to test drive them.

Ernest Doe Power Take Customers on Case IH Plant Visit

On the 26th November, Ernest Doe Power Fyfield took a selection of customers to the European Headquarters of Case IH in St. Valentin, Austria. During their three days spent in Austria, they had a ‘ride and drive' session on the test track where they were able to experience first-hand the benefits of our CVT transmissions. They were also invited to view the transmission plant where the 4 speed powershift is made for Farmall U Pro and their visit ended with a guided factory tour of the main production/assembly line.

“We viewed all aspects of the tractors' production cycle, from cab build through to stringent quality assessments and audits” said Angus Doe, Fyfield Branch Manager. “Our customers could see the attention to detail which makes the product eligible to carry the Case IH Badge.”

Big Case IH Sale in Northumberland!

J.G. Paxton & Sons, a Case IH dealer for over 90 years,  recently won a very prestigious tender from Northumberland Council. The tender was for six 105hp tractors and two other tractors of around 210hp. The units supplied were 6 Farmall 105Us and two Puma 215s. Five Farmalls were supplied with Stoll loaders and six were supplied with snowploughs and grass tyres. The Puma 215s were supplied with snow cutters and snowploughs. “This is a fantastic order and our thanks go to all our suppliers for their help in the winning of this tender” says Will Paxton, Salesman for J.G. Paxton. “Thanks must also go to all the team at Pity Me depot for their hard work over the past two months to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible”.

Bredy Agricentre Ltd purchase "Case IH" Dynamometer

Bredy Agricentre Ltd recently purchased a new Froment Dynamometer via a Case IH Red Excellence dealer scheme. This equipment has already impressed customers by printing off indisputable proof of the power at the PTO.  Agricultural students from Kingston Maurward College, Dorset were similarly impressed with the print out of 145.6 hp at the PTO from a new Puma 145 CVX, although more is available with boost engaged. One special element that pleased both mechanics and customers was that the Bredy Dynamometer was not in its usual colours but was instead in “Case-IH-red”, sporting new Case IH and Bredy logos and spreading the red even further!
