Improved water flow
The flow of liquids through the diaphragm top is optimized. This reduces pressure drops on the suction side and decreases the wear of the six diaphragms.
Easier service
Both the front and the rear main bearings can be greased from the front side of the pump. The HARDI pumps can run dry and can even run with leakage in some of the diaphragms, but the bearings need proper greasing – and this is easily done through the two non-rotating remote greasing points.
On top of this, integrated hooks have been added to the diaphragm top lock which can be used if the pump is going to be lifted off the platform.
Improved lifetime
New casted conrod support ring for improved mechanical lifetime.
Mud and water covers
For protecting the pump from mud and water, Syntal covers have been mounted on top of the diaphragm top lock.
The new HARDI 464 pump will be available in four sub models for 540 and 1000 r/min. and pump capacity of 280 to 349 l/min. The pump is self- priming, can run dry with no damage of the pump, can rotate clockwise and counterclockwise, has a dry sump to simplify maintenance and requires no special tools for servicing.
The new HARDI 464 casted iron pump will start to flow into the production of the main factory in Nr. Alslev, Denmark, from ultimo October 2014.
