The Italian agricultural machinery industries have their own place at EXPO 2015. The Federalimentare exhibition, inaugurated yesterday afternoon under the name Cibus è Italia (Food is Italy), is hosting a section dedicated to FederUnacoma, the Italian Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers, and member companies representing the significant compartments in this mechanization sector. Other than the federation and its institutional space, there are eleven enterprises of key importance with international standings participating in the Milan showcase. These are AMA, a manufacturer of components for agricultural and gardening machinery; Annovi Reverberi for pressure washers and hydraulic pumps; Breviglieri for all types of soil preparations; Capello for headers and equipment for cereals harvesting; Comer Industries turnout mecatronic components; Irrimec for fixed and self-propelled irrigation systems; Ocmis Irrigation specialized in technologies for various irrigation operations; Officine Brevetti Caron producing tractors and transporters; Rovatti Pompe specializing in centrifugal pumps; Salvarani producing hydraulic and oleodynamic control components; Zanon specializing in shredders and rotary mowers for grounds keeping.
Each exhibitor has a multimedia space and is taking part in the universal exposition with schedules of initiatives designed to promote the company brand name and testify to the leading level of technology in this Italian mechanical engineering sector.
FederUnacoma President Massimo Goldoni reported, “Following on the Cibus è Italia, FederUnacoma is mounting other initiatives in the EXPO 2015 setting, including Fab Food. This factory of Italian taste is in the Biodiversity Park, and there are demonstration trials in the field in the EIMA Show for EXPO to be held July 3 and 4 in the Province of Piacenza.” He went on to say, “These initiatives are all aimed at the same objective, stressing the fundamental role of mechanizing agro-food supply chains and affirming the overall quality of Made in Italy. This is the message for the great audience of everyone, the consumers, as well as for the political arena called on for the development of strategies in the support of mechanization as a factor of excellence,” he concluded.
