New RANGE R6 Plough
At Agritechnica, Grégoire-Besson will present its new plough range R6. The slogan to launch the range is: “With GREGOIRE-BESSON, enter the new R”. This mounted plough 4-5 and 6 furrows is for the heart of the European plough market. Since several years, we are positioned in the variwidth plough market and in 2015-2016, Grégoire-Besson arrives with a totally new plough range for the mechanical adjustment segment market.
This R6 is characterized by the new headstock equipped with Grégoire-Besson technology like 3-point linkage suspension, angle adjustment, headstock-to-frame linkage via parallelogram, hydraulic independent front furrow adjustment and plough alignment. To optimize traction and lateral forces, R6 will be equipped with new offset leg elements. This technology combined with the new frame in “Z” design allows a better wheel position, wheel track is ‘taken out' and load transfer is optimized.
Still in the GB ploughs spirit, this plough configuration is very flexible to suit field conditions : hydraulic or shearbolt safety device, hydraulic or mechanical wheel depth adjustment, large choice of mouldboards and skimmers. This new range will be completed next years with range R8 in 5-6 and 7 furrows.
A new era begins…
VOYAGER
To equip the largest farms, Grégoire-Besson expands its range of ploughs with the VOYAGER second generation. Especially designed for tractors without three-point linkage, the new VOYAGER range is characterized by its articulated front wheels axle. This Grégoire-Besson innovation fits most tractors and improves handling while securing manoeuvres. This development is intended for users of tractors not equipped with 3-point linkage.
As for Grégoire-Besson semi-mounted ploughs, the VOYAGER model features a rack and pinion turnover system, optimized for this range to increase the efficiency of the plough. VOYAGER allows working widths over 6,00m and increased efficiency of 30% compared to other products offered on the market. Presented for preview with 17 bodies at Agritechnica, the VOYAGER range will be available for sale during the 2016 season.
TERROS
At Agritechnica, Grégoire-Besson will reveal its new range of large width semi-mounted seedbed harrows. TERROS is the name for this new Grégoire-Besson product. The machine will be shown at Agritechnica in 12,00 m width version and equipped for corn seedbed preparation.
TERROS is characterized by depth adjustment via 10 wheels 11.5/80-15.3. Wheels are positioned in the middle of the frame and tines are placed just behind. This perfect stabilization enables to follow with precision the ground contours. Depth adjustment is managed by only one point in the tractor cab or on the machine.
TERROS can be equipped in option with disc coulter at front, intermediate roller and roller at rear. All the rollers have individual depth and pressure adjustment, operated from the tractor cab. Three types of tines are available on the TERROS, for stubble cultivation or seedbed preparation. Each type of tine has a spacing of 7.5 cm, 12.5 cm or 18.7 cm. Designed for European and Eastern countries, TERROS measures 3,00 m transport width and 4.20 m height.
NORMANDIE
For the first time at Agritechnica, Grégoire-Besson presents its new range of compact disc harrows: the NORMANDIE range. Dedicated to export market, this range is available with 4 types of frame. Mounted and foldable from 4,00 to 6,00m width. Semi-mounted from 4,00 to 6,00m, with foldable frame in 2 parts. Semi-mounted from 7,00 to 9,00m, with foldable frame in 3 parts and 12,00 m width with frame in 4 parts. All versions comply with road rules: 3m transport width and height less than 4m.
Shown in 12m width at Agritechnica, the NORMANDIE is equipped with stubble cultivation accessories. 3 discs diameter are available for the range (460mm, 510mm and 560mm), adapted to the different soil conditions. The NORMANDIE will be exhibited with discs Ø 510mm, the best seller. A large choice of rear rollers is available, in order to answer all farmers' requirements. Grégoire-Besson presents the squared bar double roller, particularly adapted to plant residue destruction.
