“The new theme was chosen to evoke a number of meanings and moods. It not only taps into the idea of agriculture cultivating crops to feed the planet, but also on how crop production experts from all around the world advance the agricultural sector” , says Marie Servais, Project Manager of Agritechnica.
Agritechnica will be present at SIMA with a stand in hall 5a at the end of February. Agritechnica personnel will be on stand J016 in Hall 5a throughout the duration of this year's SIMA show, which runs from 26 February – 2 March. They will be able to answer any questions from visitors, exhibitors or media about the DLG (German Agricultural Society)-organized event taking place later this year.
The previous Agritechnica edition attracted 5000 French farmers and dealers to Hanover – as well as a record number of 102 French exhibitors - showing France is a heavyweight in agricultural production. This mirrors the importance of the country's agricultural industry, with France and Germany representing the top two markets for tractors and agricultural machinery in Europe.
French manufacturers and service providers invest in Agritechnica as a platform for exports to the whole world. 452,000 visitors in total, 100,000 international visitors from 115 countries speak for themselves. AGRITECHNICA is the world's largest trade fair dedicated to agricultural machinery and equipment. AGRITECHNICA 2017 will be held from 12-18 November at Hanover's Exhibition Grounds. More than 2,892 exhibitors and 452,000 visitors attended the event in 2015.
