The meeting ended with the joint adoption of a final declaration that includes the following priorities: protecting producers' incomes from environmental crisis and climate change (with a specific mandate to FAO), more agricultural cooperation with Africa, greater transparency in food prices, fight against food waste, tracking local food production.
The meeting closed a whole week devoted to agriculture with over 50 events addressed to citizens.
