The first stage will see the trophy visit the Field Days in Orange from October 24 to 26.
Travelling to explore Australia under the sign of cricket - this is in short BKT's new adventure. By means of the Trophy Tour, the company will get to know cricket fans and also meet its users while taking around the cricket trophy – a symbol of the values of sport.
The stages scheduled for BKT are of three different kinds as to the location: Field Days (dedicated to the countryside), Cricket Club (an occasion to meet local champions) and a Farm Visit (an activity that involves farmers turning their land into a pitch). The stages are Orange, Moree, Emerald, Albury-Wodonga, Kalgoorlie, Port Augusta and Tatura.
Kick off is on Thursday 24 October with the Australian National Field Days (ANFD), the most traditional yearly agricultural trade show in Australia. A hugely popular event since 1952 with over 600 exhibitors from all over the country during the last edition.
Along with the KFC Big Bash League Trophy Display, BKT will have an exhibition space to display its products and will also organize several engaging activities for visitors to the Field Days. Among these will be the BKT Bowling Challenge, a hard test for visitors, who will have to bowl through a BKT tire with a cricket ball. Moreover, visitors will have the unique opportunity to get their photo taken with the official trophy. In addition, visitors will stand the chance to receive merchandising items from sunglasses to small monster trucks and miniature bats.
In psychology it is called “the power of small ties”. BKT, the giant in the global Off-Highway tire market, takes part in the Trophy Tour to shake hands with sport fans, customers and new friends, since even the smallest bond counts.
