BKT takes sport to BAUMA

In the outdoor area Atrium (Eingang Ost), BKT has set up BKT HOOPS, a game area dedicated to visitors and sport enthusiasts. Just by playing basketball, visitors can win two tickets for a Euroleague Basketball match at their choice and many other prizes.

Whether it is from passion to fair play, from team spirit to the eagerness of growing together, BKT shares many true values with the sport world conveyed by means of the both powerful and universal language of sport.

This bond is of public domain thanks to numerous active sponsoring activities in different sports.

BKT is taking its entire passion for sport to Bauma, where it is going to launch the initiative “BKT HOOPS” that winks at all sport fans, especially those of the basketball world, who can win many prizes just by playing.

There will be a setup of three mini-baskets in the outdoor area Atrium (Eingang Ost) from October 24 to 30.

The purpose of the game is to score as many hoops as possible in 60 seconds. In case of 30 or even more hoops a minute, one gains 60 seconds extra playtime.

Each participant will receive his/her score by e-mail, and at the end of the competition, each of the first three classified players will win two tickets for a EuroLeague Basketball match at his/her choice. In case of a tie, the winner will be drawn among the classified players.

Also children and teenagers under the age of 18 can participate at the EuroLeague competition, if accompanied by a parent, or they can just participate to win one of the many additional BKT prizes.

Indeed, since stocks last, each participant will receive a basketball in addition to many gadgets signed by BKT.

Participating in the initiative is really easy.

In the game area, visitors will find a QR code that they can scan to register and enter their data, and afterwards the number of their turn will appear: an easy but efficient way to understand when it is the right time to play, avoiding queuing but enjoying instead the trade show. The staff present on the spot will provide assistance to players.

BKT has decided to take basketball to Bauma as the company is Premium Partner of EuroLeague Basketball, the promoter of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7DAYS EuroCup, two of the most prestigious European competitions among basketball clubs.

But that's not all! In the game area, there i also a social wall, i.e. a map showing all EuroLeague teams, where players can write messages to support their favorite team. These messages will be directly forwarded to the EuroLeague clubs after the end of the trade show. What better occasion could there be to talk to one's favorite players?

Connecting with people is definitely becoming more and more concrete. Indeed, by means of this tangible bond with sport, not only does BKT aim at emphasizing their passion, energy and enthusiasm, but also at connecting audiences that just appear to be distant, enhancing this way their brand awareness worldwide.
