After postponing the event Victam Asia twice, now with the current vaccination programs all over the world, we are positive that Victam’s world leading event can be organized again in January 2022! This means that we are getting back on track.
The two organizers, DLG (German Agricultural Society) and VNU Asia Pacific, today announced the event program for the two leading international trade fairs in the Asian markets, AGRITECHNICA ASIA and HORTI ASIA, for 2021 and 2022.
With more than 12,000 livestock professionals attending the exhibition over the three days from 7th to 9th September, the second edition of the EuroTier China exhibition, held in Chengdu, China, offered relevant solutions from the feed sector as well as technologies from the pig, poultry, dairy and aquaculture fields, presented by 190 exhibitors from 13 countries.
The management teams from the VICTAM Corporation and VIV worldwide have decided to postpone VICTAM and Animal Health and Nutrition Asia 2020 in Bangkok to July 9 – 11, 2020 due to the situation report #39 from the WHO published on February 28th in which the risk assessment for the regional level as well as the global level changed from high to very high.

The trade and investment agreements between the EU and Singapore have today received the approval of the European Parliament. The Parliament has also given its green light to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement. This marks an important step towards their entry into force, boosting the EU economic relations and cooperation with Singapore and leading to an increased presence in the fast-growing Southeast Asian region.
With increased numbers of both exhibitors and visitors, the second editions of AGRITECHNICA ASIA and Horti ASIA last week reached a successful conclusion in Thailand. There were nearly 300 exhibitors from 29 countries, an increase of about 25 percent from last year, and 10,677 trade participants and conference delegates from 69 countries, a 30 percent increase. These figures confirmed that both trade fairs have underlined their leading roles in both agriculture and horticulture in Southeast Asia. Seven country pavilions along with visitors from 69 countries demonstrated the international scope of the event. AGRITECHNICA ASIA and Horti ASIA 2018 enjoyed the support of the Thai Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, being the official co-host of the event.
Experts from Thailand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, which is co-hosting this year’s Agritechnica Asia exhibition, have predicted that machinery uptake in the country is set to increase due to potential labor shortages and a subsequent growing need for mechanized farming solutions.
