July Case IH UK & ROI

Agro Napló
Last month the Case IH team were busy with a number of shows and events but the hard work paid off as we had excellent overall attendance and interest from visitors. This month join us at the Royal Welsh show and make sure you come along to the Quadtrac World Record attempt at the end of the month!

Success At Recent Shows

The weather hasn’t been on our side over the past few weeks, but despite its temperament, crowds still turned out for the Royal Cornwall Show. One of the most interesting features of the stand was the original Farmall A restored by Bob Jones, Dealer Principal of Truro Farm Machinery. Bob bought the 1940 Farmall A from eBay for just £800, stripped it, rebuilt it and painted it. It looked very impressive next to a current Farmall 55A! Meanwhile at the Suffolk Showground in Ipswich the weather was much the same but customers visiting the Ernest Doe Power stand were able to view first-hand the new Tier 4 STX500 Quadtrac, a 315 Magnum and experience the quality of the new Puma 145. Considering the weather elsewhere in the country, we were rather lucky at Cereals this year, with the second day raising spirits with sun and blue sky! This year’s show focused on Precision Farming Equipment available from CaseIH. The stand exhibited guidance systems, variable rate applications for different implement manufacturers and provided the introduction of telematics. We saw everyone in the Case IH team engaged in precision farming topics talking about ISO bus, telematics and VRA. Andy Whiley from Case IH said that the display was a great success.

The Royal Highland Show this year was one of the wettest on record but this did not deter the crowds from attending. The stand was very welcoming and the Farmalls attracted plenty of interest. The AFS simulator was a great draw and the Magnum, Quadtrac and combine really underlined the Case IH brand.

Once again at this year’s successful Royal Norfolk show Ernest Doe (the UK’s biggest dealer) Displayed Case IH with pride. The full team of staff were on hand to answer any questionS relating to the product line up.

Farmall Photo Shoot

A few weeks ago the Case IH team took to the field with an Austrian film crew to take images and video footage of the new Farmall family. They couldn’t have asked for better weather for the shoot, which took place in rural Bedfordshire courtesy of Ted and Tom Wootton. The team took the opportunity to mow, row, spread, gather, bale and wrap grass silage in the sunshine, using the new Farmall 95U, Farmall 95A, Farmall 75C and Farmall 55A.

25 Years Of Magnum

This September marks a memorable date in the Case IH calendar as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Magnum. Since 1988 Case IH has produced 5 generations of the Magnum tractor and we are commemorating this with a celebratory, limited production paint scheme of red, black and silver on 25 Magnum units – available as a special order only. Stay tuned as we release more details in the Autumn but here’s a sneak preview of the limited edition paint scheme.

Quadtrac World Record Attempt and Classic Tractor Display

We’re only a few weeks away from the Quadtrac World Record Event - the most Quadtracs cultivating in one field - and so far 23 Quadtracs have been registered! If we can get 30 Quadtracs then the attempt will be noticed as a Guinness Book Of World Records event! The record attempt is being held in memory of John Rainthorpe and will raise money for Cancer Research Charity “Relay For Life.” So far £3,200 has been raised, so well done and thank you for your donations. The event is open to those wishing to enter their own Quadtracs and for those who fancy coming along for the day to watch or donate towards a worthy cause. A model Case IH Quadtrac 600 will be awarded to the person who brings; the oldest Quadtrac, the Quadtrac with the longest hours and the Quadtrac that has travelled furthest to the event.

A vintage tractor parade will also be taking place at the event, so come along with your classic Case IH and heritage models on 28th July at Westhall Farm, Welton Cliff in Lincolnshire. Register your Quadtrac and donate

Nash Dash!

A group of tractor enthusiasts are driving an old International B414 tractor from Yorkshire to France to raise money and awareness for the cancer charity Marie Curie. The team began their journey on 30th June from their home village of Wroot, Epworth in North Lincolnshire and expect to arrive at their destination in Breuil Bernard in the Poitou-Charentes region of Western France after 8 days of travelling!
