At 26th of October took place an open day ceremony for the new project "smiling porker" where our latest developments in animal friendly and highly professional solutions for group housing management with Compident ESF feeding system were integrated. Big dynamic groups of sows have access to 4 ESF feeding stations each group at the same time. A special exit corridor with integrated new central selection unit from Schauer provides central heat detection and leads into a long path until the sows will have the possibility to have access to the feeding stations again. A calm group housing climate and lower interactions between sows are the consequence.
