Hermann Lohbeck succeeds Lothar Kriszun as speaker for CLAAS Group Executive Board

Hermann Lohbeck has been named as speaker for CLAAS Group Executive Board. He will take over from Lothar Kriszun on 1 October 2017, who is retiring at that point.

"Lothar Kriszun has achieved a lot for our company. He has held management posts in a wide variety of areas over the course of his 36 years with CLAAS, including 15 years on the Group Executive Board. He is a crucial driving force in the successful further development of CLAAS," explained Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser, Chairperson of the Supervisory Board. "We are filling this position with Hermann Lohbeck, who is a dynamic personality with a track record of almost twenty years' outstanding work in management.”

Lothar Kriszun

Hermann Lohbeck has been a member of the CLAAS Group Executive Board since 2014, and is responsible for the forage harvesting sector. He has a diploma in business management and initially worked as an accounting assistant at an auditing company, prior to being a tax consultant and chartered accountant. Hermann Lohbeck joined CLAAS in 1999, where he has held posts as division manager of accounting and taxes, as well as of the controlling department. And up until 2014 he was commercial director of the CLAAS self-propelled harvesters division.

As of 1 October the Corporate Communications and Corporate Development departments will also come under his control as the newly appointed speaker for CLAAS Group Executive Board.
