The new CLAAS E-Systems site in Dissen
More than 170 software developers, engineers and other specialists from CLAAS E-Systems are working in Dissen on pioneering solutions that will enable the networking of machinery to help the farmer manage his business more efficiently. These include control units, electronic architecture, terminals, camera systems, automatic satellite-based steering systems, and many other innovations. 'With us, theory and practice go hand in hand,' explained Dr. Carsten Hoff, Managing Director of CLAAS E-Systems. 'In addition to modern work stations and laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art technology, we have a workshop and also a test track where we can put our developments to the test straight away.'

In Dissen a great deal of importance has been attached to the creation of a dynamic working environment designed to promote innovation. For example, there are open-plan meeting rooms on every floor, equipped with the latest media technology, and there is a parent-child room that staff with children are free to use whenever needed.
CLAAS has invested an eight-figure sum in the new five-hectare CLAAS E-Systems site in Dissen. Back in 1998 CLAAS acquired one of the leading agricultural software companies and has integrated it successfully into the Group. Since then, a powerful range of technologies designed to increase efficiency has emerged under the brand name EASY. CLAAS has become one of the leading suppliers of precision farming solutions, and has won numerous awards for its innovations.
