An initiative uniting a dozen leading French agricultural technical and research institutes and organisations, the aim is to put the spotlight on farming systems that are protect the environment and enhance operator safety.
The RoGator 600B cab was chosen for its superior air quality, which provides a chemical-free working environment for operators. The first farm machine ever to achieve a Category IV rating for its cab air quality, internal and external air pressure is constantly monitored for a chemical- and dust-free work space. Setting the standard for self-propelled sprayers, the inclusion in the Agricultural Best Practices area underlines the cab’s healthy nature.
Key to the system is a special three-step active carbon filtration system that cleans the air to the standard demanded for the strict Category IV rating, and it is this aspect that the partners were unanimous is noting as a major step forward in creating the healthiest possible working environment for sprayer operators.
“RoGator 600B operators benefit from breathing the cleanest, freshest air available on any farm machine,” says Hubertus von Dungern, Hubertus von Dungern, Manager Product Marketing Sprayers.
* Category 4:.The EN ISO 15695-1 and EN ISO 15695-2 standards are very tough and difficult to achieve. The cab must be tested and proven to protect operators from dust, aerosols and vapours with an air delivery and filter system.
