This is the point, where the trade press plays a vital role, thanks to an in-depth knowledge and the dissemination of the several matters concerning the world of agriculture. For this reason, along with their South African partner Tubestone, BKT is among the sponsors of the 60th World Congress promoted by IFAJ, the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists, which will be held in the provinces of Gauteng and Western Cape, South Africa, from April 2 to 8.

IFAJ is an autonomous body whose mission is to share with their members all the features of global farming. The federation's members co-operate with newspapers, magazines, radios, TV channels and internet portals around the world and cover a variety of issues: from agricultural markets to rural development policies, from sustainable production to nutrition problems.

Founded in 1956, IFAJ has strived for organizing a congress right from the outset, and the first meeting was held in 1957. Since then, the event has taken place unfailingly every year for the purpose of discussing farming issues that are of great relevance for the entire planet.

The 60th IFAJ World Congress will be held in South Africa from April 2 to 8. The aim of this meeting is to display the country's agricultural situation, providing the opportunity to journalists to acquire new data and experiences for their professional growth. In the current African setting, which is poor in resources but facing an ever-growing population, South Africa is a gateway for the remaining continent - a guide for both agriculture and industry with lots of experience and information to be shared with the Congress participants.
