Despite the overall strongly declining market, Fendt was able to win the annual head-to-head race for first place in tractor registrations in Germany. “Although our product line begins at 70 hp, we succeeded in attaining market leadership for tractors 51 hp and higher – that means for real tractors. We offer farmers and contractors products that they need for their day to day operations,” explains Andreas Loewel, Managing Director of AGCO Germany GmbH and responsible for the overall Fendt business in Germany.
Fendt's market leadership is even clearer in the above-101 hp segment, with a market share of nearly 25 percent. In the professional segment over 200 hp, Fendt dominates the market with more than 34 percent.
These figures show that the high technological standard as well as the high quality of Fendt tractors have found great acceptance with customers. Through the continued development of the entire product line, Fendt offers customers tractors that meet the highest demands.
Fendt on the global market
With a 63.3-percent export share, Fendt continues to expand its position on the global market. The increase in market share by about one percent clearly shows that farmers worldwide choose to rely on innovations from Fendt and value the high performance of the products from the Allgäu/Germany.
