Smart Feeding Technology for TMR - newcomers

Presented at the AGRITECHNICA 2013 and successfully tested under operating conditions for months: Due to the width of only 2.02 meters and the height of 2,45 meters this self-propelled is especially convenient for feeding in low barns and narrow building conditions as well as feed tables. The advantages of this simple and also cost-efficient mechanisation of the feeding process arise from the example of Ludwig Ober's farm in Burgkirchen/Upper Bavaria. 60 dairy cows plus young cattle have been fed with the compact self-propelled since spring time. The first measurable results after the beginning of TMR (total mixing ration) have already shown during the second week: 100 liters of more milk per day compared to the silo-griff. „I consider a yield increase of 1000 kg of milk per cow within one year to be realistic. The feeding process now is quicker, more efficient and more exact due to the weighing system on the machine“ says Ludwig Ober. The 4-cylinder Diesel engine with 36 KW (49 PS), the driving speed of up to 20 km/h as well as getting in and out quickly and comfortably ensure further time saving during the busy daily operations.

To make the machine even more flexible and suitable for any farm the feeding specialists from Tittmoning technically improved the self-propelled again. The new models are now in series equipped with a cross conveyor belt at the rear. The advantages: The feed can be discharged on both sides, the backmost feeding table of feeding passages can be served and bedding can be comfortably dispersed in the cubicles.
